About This Event

Ricardo Paris is a Portuguese-born DJ / record collector based in London. Since the young age of 13, music and record collecting have always been a big part of his life – records were always around the house and playing on his dad’s old Pioneer record player. But it was not until ’95 that Skateboarding, Hip-hop culture and all the jazz/soul sampled tracks became a love in his life and a deep inspiration within his eclectic DJ sets.

Over the last 20 years, he’s brought his eclectic mix of deep soul, jazz, funk, afro, brazil and much more to the dance floors on the same collector ethos as he still does it today: original format on vinyl and mostly original pressings across the UK and Europe and he has played in several well known bars and venues such as London: Brilliant Corners, Spiritland and Servant Jazz Quarters, Seed Library Paris: Bambino and Berlin: Bar Thousand, Rhinoçéros to mention a few.
